SafeDrive Innovations Limited, is a company registered in Ghana since 2013 to provide top-notch driver training for all categories of drivers. We are also licensed by the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) of the Republic of Ghana to operate as Driving School. We are the only driver training institute that uses the state-of-the-art driving simulators which is the latest technology in driver training in Ghana currently.

At SafeDrive, we combine the traditional on-road practical with driving simulator lessons. Our driving simulators play a vital role in the training by giving them pre-knowledge about driving, instill discipline, allay their fears, and build confidence in the trainee before they hit the road.

We have a track record of providing excellent driver training services to some renowned institutions like Accra Technical University (ATU), Family Health Medical School, Metro Mass Transit Company Ltd, Dangote Cement Ghana Ltd, National Drivers Academy, Ayalolo Transport Ltd, Scania West Africa, Trinity Theological Seminary, ECOWAS Regional Electricity Regulatory Authority (ERERA), among others.

Statistics show that four people die daily on Ghanaian roads due to road accident. Estimates show that Ghana loses over 230 million dollars yearly due to road accidents with more than 1600 deaths. The loss correlates to 1.7% of the country’s Gross Domestic Product. The NRSC announced in 2010 that there were 19 fatalities per 10,000 vehicles in Ghana. Statistics showed that 43% of the fatalities involved pedestrians and 53% involved occupants of vehicles. 23% of all pedistrain fatalities involved children below the age of 16 years.

The major cause of road accidents in Ghana is due to over speeding. This accounts for 60% of car crashes in the country.

The bottom line for these heartbreaking statistics is human error which accounts for over 80% of road crashes accordingly to research.

At SafeDrive,  we are of the view that the way a person drives  is  strongly influenced by their emotions, attitude, and nurturing . We therefore take our trainees through the psychology of driving to development their cognitive skills.
